A purchase of potted tulips opened with a bang presenting me with this amazing flower piece. The jagged yellow rimmed edges and deep red throats when they were fully opened just shouted "Celebration!" This is part of an occasional series I do when the spirit moves me of over-large florals - so far there are four and they always remind me of woman - hence the title "Party Girl". It couldn't have been any other way. This is a studio work.
