White pine trees each have a unique posture, and I enjoy endeavoring to capture each tree’s personality. This tree was posed overlooking it’s namesake lake on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Wilderness Area. It was created in pastel completely on location during the Plein Air Grand Marais in northern Minnesota.
