Zeally Bay

I started painting in 2020 and this is my first ever entry. This painting was inspired by the feel of the warm and salty air full of moisture from the ocean on the semi overcast day; by the heavy clouds that are just about to rain and the glare of the low tide. This work is done in watercolour. First, there was a little plein-air sketch on location (Zeally Bay Australia), and the final painting finished in the studio. I took my artistic license to change and add a few things to create a better composition and a story telling painting.
