Friendship Colors

I've had the pleasure to stay in Friendship, Maine several times to paint. I love the colors of the waterfront, in particular the buoys, traps and ropes that line the docks and wharves, and that go out on the lobster boats. This painting is from a pile of ropes
and buoys I found when I was on my first plein air trip to Friendship.
