Headed East

My family has lived in the same home for three generations. It is in an area known for an overgrowth of maple trees and flowering shrubs like these climbing roses. I used to walk past this basalt retaining wall every morning and afternoon on my to and from school as a girl. I think of those memories each time I drive down this familiar street. I'm happy to have captured it with this light in pastel.
