Along Mabel's Path

Walking one autumn along a pathway at the Mabel Dodge Lujan estate in Taos, I was struck by this perspective. I loved the unusual, organic shapes of the building and the texture and varied color of the newly refurbished adobe exterior. I also liked the invitation to continue along the path toward sunlit portal in the distance. Oil on panel, completed in studio.
