Tumbling Waters - Carters Lake

The first time after about 7 months of isolating ourselves from Covid in the beginning, our extended family took a Hike outdoors at Tumbling Waters near Carter's Lake. It was an amazing October Day and the Waterfall was at its best in colors and movement. Our family felt reunited and rejuvenated! As the others hike up the bridge to see the waterfall from the top, I stayed behind on the bridge and sketched the Waterfalls in my head and took a million perspectives photos on my handy IPhone as usual. I took back my information and desire to paint and created this one in my studio. Tumbling Waters was later sold at an auction as Buy Now before the auction began. I used a palette knife in a lot of the painting.
