Tahoe Meadows was cold and windy, with a touch of frost in the heights. It was Father's Day, and five rocks held down all my gear. That is my personal limit for a plein air session. Working in watercolor it tested my fortitude. Later in the studio, I finished this oil from the photos and field notes. A hot cup of java warmed up my frostbitten fingers and toes.
